Is the DRI trunk compatible with XFree86 4.1.0, 4.2.0, 4.2.1, and current CVS XFree86? If so, and it is considered stable, which is what I presume by it being considered for 2.4.x integration, then it makes sense to me to do so. Backward compatibility with releases back at least as far as 4.1.0 is critically important though. -- Mike A.
