I've seen this with tuxracer on Mac OS X as well, so I doubt it's
exclusively a driver problem.

Indeed, the driver shouldn't particularly care about this. Anyway, do
you have a procedure to reproduce the problem? I didn't notice anything
obvious on a quick try.

Isn't the radeon module only enough?
