I'm going to merge the newmesa branch to the trunk in a few moments.

I've giving people a heads up that I'm going to delete the xc/extras/Mesa
directory and insist on people checking out a copy of Mesa's newtree and
people setting that in their xc/config/cf/host.def file to point to their
checked out copy.

I think it's pointless trying to keep merging back and forth now once this
merge is complete.

Another thing should be pointed out: since Mesa CVS is goint to be used by more people, we have to be more careful with our check-ins so we never break the build.

My plans is this:

* wrap up the Mesa 5.1 (development) release soon
* rev it to version 6.0 (stable version) which advertises OpenGL
  1.5 support
* Create a mesa_6_0_branch which people should check out and use
for DRI building. This branch will be the stable branch for
  bug fixes only.
* The Mesa CVS trunk will then be for new development again

I'll try to get a Mesa 5.1 release candidate put together ASAP.
