I forgot to mention on thing in the Wiki (correcting now). You need to
increase the value of __driNConfigOptions accordingly if you add new
options. You should have seen an error message as a reminder though. ;-)

Thanks for these patches. I hope they'll be committed soon.

P.S.: The driconf patches seem to be against the wrong tree. I had to
apply the *_context.c parts manually.
