Hi guys,
I have been looking into the following bug report:

Basically SHOW TABLE STATUS ignores tables that are not already in the
table cache. I can't really see a solution to this unless we fill the
table cache with what could be useless entries.
Anyone have an idea for a solution for this? Or should it be documented
that way.
