I'm not sure why TCP doesn't support peercred on localhost.
What's the problem with socket name? I assume drizzle.conf will just
list the right (default) socket name.

Is multiple instances a simple/common scenario?
If there are multiple instances you have to specify an instance
anyway. I don't see the problem.
