Hello LedHed,
Web forums can also be organized better. For example: there can be
Postifx, MySQL, LDAP, QMail, etc... topics. A user can go to a specific
Topic rather than searching through tons of email on the Mailing List in
hopes of finding what they need.
With all due respect to the august cybernetic body where we
reside at the moment, I don't think there's enough traffic
here yet to warrant breaking it up into smaller sub-forums.
Going through five different forums to view a dozen messages
in each is bothersome.
One man's meat is another man's poison, I prefer to have it
all collected in one place. I'm lazy and I like the DSPAM
stuff coming at me. YMMV, but me sez: -1
I also don't see any reason why there can't be both a
Mailing List and a Web Forum.
There is one: fragmentation. Sometimes it's a feature, in
present context it might be a bug.

I would very much like to see a dspam web forum.
Aside from the benefits of archiving, search, etc (which can already be
done, to an extent, I know), I think it would also help put a face on
dspam - it would add to the community and make dspam more friendly.
I don't see how having a forum would hurt, either. Some would continue
to use the mailing lists, while others would use the web forums, or both.
Hell, I'm even up for offering to host the site.
Thumbs up,
Kyle
