I can't be bothered navigating around a cumbersome, slow, heavy html site.
Would much rather have the content come to my mailbox for digestion at my
leisure. Lots of people I know are the same.
I guess I can see why some of you enjoy getting loads of email in
your mailboxes due to majordomo subscriptions and such, but I sure
don't. If you change your minds, let me know. I'd be happy to set
something up. Until then, I may pop out of this list for a little
while.
Learn how to use procmail, or similar if its bothering you.
I've no aversion to you having a forum, please do. Lots of people like the
mailing list, no reason not to have both.
I'd wager that the very knowledgable people here would stick with things as
is, and you'd end up with a forum full of unanswered questions. Gmane is
fine for web searchable. Alternatively, install mail2news and use nntp.
