Ok Ron, So if the basically transceiver chassis* inside could be remounted to 
the back plate opened for a direct chassis* ext coax pl termination, then the 
internal original line loss problem is eliminated.

Losses would be reduced further due to only the one connection required, but 
still with the ability to fit metering devices later for tests/maintenance etc.
