Have you tried to reset the power manager (hold in the power button for 30
or 40 seconds)?? I've found that occasionally the darned things will just
get confused and I *think* they beleive they're on a run-down battery and
need to shut off. Resetting the power manager pretty generally fixes flaky
non-boot problems.
