I've been using the German web browser iCab, which I like a lot. It's in
beta now, but if you like it, you'll have to pay something for it in
September, I think, cuz like Opera, it's not free. You can get it from
download.com. On the other hand, if you download an early 68k version of
Netscape, you'll get a built in email client.
Regarding the word processors, though, I'd recommend you go with an older
version of Word or WordPerfect. Word 6, that came with MS Office 4.2, is
nice, and pretty cheap at auction at eBay. You may want to take your files
to a Wintel machine sometime and continue to work on them. Too, the
shareware word processors I've seen for the Mac all seem pretty limited --
probably deliberately so, since they are basically touts for their
commercial cousins.
