Well, yes, at least Mariner Write Lite and Nisus Compact. Neither will let
me save in another word processor's format. That makes them useless to me
since I do some freelance editing, and often have to work with manuscripts
other folks have prepared, and then send the corrected copy back in a form
they can read. Even in the cyberworld -- except for a few open standard
cases like Linux, and the craziness between Microsoft Internet Explorer and
Netscape -- you get what you pay for, IMHO.
