I'm getting really sick of hearing people on this list try and claim the Sony Vaios, Toshiba Porteges, Sharp ...Nice post but it comes to me as a few lines about 10000 characters long.
To read it I have to either use the horizontal scrollbar (which tends to
be very slow and disorienting trying to read a very long line) or click
reply and let Netscape wrap the lines. If I'm in the minority here, then
ok. If not, I'd appreciate some carriage returns.
I have to say that I think the Vaio really looks cool. Maybe it does
get hot, but I'm not sure why you have to carry all that extra gear.
I use windows all the time and rarely use my floppy (on my desktop).
I would think the Vaio would lose most of it's utility unless you could
carry it by itself (with maybe a spare battery). Looks like a killer
airplane machine (with maybe a couple of spare batteries).
