Well, consider the amount space in there. A 603 produces alot less heat than
a 604. It was the design team's baby and they went for looks over cost and
looks over processing ability.

Why would someone pay $8,000 (and many did) for a computer that was going to
be mass produced in six months? The whole concept was a beautiful, limited
edition collectors item. And to a small extent that has worked. A TAM goes
for more than 4 times what a similarly equipped 6400 sells for on eBay.
