hello tim,

well I tried to reset the PMU a lot of times ( did not count them
actually )
and I was lucky one or two times to get the 2400 alive again, but it
usually would not start after the next shutdown. I had the impression,
that that it got worse by the time.
Also I totally dissembled the li'l sucker totally, icluding the removal
of the backup battery and left it dissembled for a couple of days, which
should clear all the ram contents completely.
But no change after putting it back together.
I should also mention that my I/O-board got fried once, due to a
malfunctioning power-adapter.
DT&T fixed this for me (for 75$...). Afterwards the Book worked again for
a short time but than gave up for the first time with the aforementioned
symptoms ( steady green light and so on )
So I currently think, that either the problem with the I/O-board left
some other problems unsolved ( well, that stuff is so delicate ), or
something else has wandered off to la-la-land.

If you got other suggestions, let me know, I appreciate any help, since
living in Europe it's kinda expensive to send it to the states for repair.

Best regards and thanks for all tips.

h.marseille
