I think this is a terriffic thread; I'm using this information to try to
revive a 5300cs with a steadily glowing sleep light.

I've reset the power manager many times and removed and replaced the PRAM
battery with no luck; the sleep light still glows green.

Should I spend my time resetting the power manager again and again, or is
this machine in need of serious repair?

I'm sure we can find a college somewhere who can make reading this list at
least a three-credit course! :-)
