SCSI disk mode will work with drives not larger than 4GB (4.3GB is ok). 
For what I have heard, you can partitionize (?) your larger HD to one 
partition with 4GB and one with the rest (or more, what ever) and you 
will be able to use your PB in SCSI disk mode with at least this 4GB 
partition. I read that it should work, but I have never did it (still 
have the 1.3 GB inside...).
