As a former 210/2300 owner, now w/2400, I know where you're coming from as I really hated giving up the trackball. But trust me, you'll get used to it eventually. Last weekend I was at a Mac "flea-market" sale and got to play with a 230 and was surprised at how awkward and imprecise the trackball felt. Like anything, you get used to it.

I must add, however that I would give anything for my 2400 to have as good a clicker as the 210 did. That I still miss.
