i wouldn't risk it, personally. there are WAY too many screws to lose, and I
usually feel very confident about getting inside a powerbook.  BUT, because
they packed so much into the 2400c, there is alot of work involved. replacing
the keyboard was enough of a hassle for ME....I would STRONGLY SUGGEST you
contact MCE and have THEM do it.

Marc,

If you're good with your fingers and careful about keeping track of screws,
you should be able to handle replacing the HD yourself.
