I had to laugh at the comments about Dantz's "great tech support". Dantz can't
even write intelligible step by step back up and restore procedures. Once
you figure out these procedures via days of trial and error, Dantz's program works
flawlessly and you'll love it.
Best thing I can recommend is to buy an old Mac with a tiny 40 -80MB hard
drive and spend several days stuggling through all kinds of Mac procedures
(not just backup) that no book or manual ever bothers to write out for beginners
in a hand holding, non-computerese writing style.
