Also check and see if the SCSI cable 's square  HDI connector  has only 29
pins with one missing pin in the corner, as opposed to the 30-pin variety
which is in fact a SCSI disk mode cable that allows you to hook the 2400 to
another computer as a hard disk at the scsi default id #2.
