This should only happen if you have the 30 pin HDI-30 dock cable plugged in
instead of the 29 pin HDI-30 cable, or have a dual purpose cable set to the
dock setting. The machine has not booted from the system, but is being
controlled by the ROM. Check your cables, and SCSI id #s.
