This. I like "points" just fine. I don't have to mentally
convert whatever cute name it is to "points" or "credits" which
is what we're really talking about. "Wishes" is so twee. Any
"wish" you can buy for a dollar isn't much of a wish!

(Also, "bucket" makes me think of That Walrus, idk, am I alone?)

Yes. That's particularly problematic because it's offensive to
many people who are either mentally ill themselves or have
friends who are, and see it as a slur against them, but it's
annoying to have to remember that "asylum" is community and I
always have to catch myself remembering to type "asylums" in urls
instead of "community".

I *like* pink and sparkly--notoriously so--but a lot of people
don't. (When people say "14 year old girls of all ages" I know
that I'm one of the people they're talking about; FFS, I like
*Twilight*. And *Sailor Moon*.) But this is too pink and
sparkly for me.

I use the Lanzelot site scheme on LJ (the Russian one) and the
Worksafe one on IJ because they are nice and neutral and
borrrrring, so I only see the graphics I want to see. I know a
lot of people love themes, but a lot of people don't, so we
probably will have a theme. But let's make it unobtrusive so
that we don't alienate as many people as we attract with it.
