LJ tried something similar for a while (Peanut Labs was the outfit, if I
recall), and I believe it turned out to be more of an annoyance to users than
it was worth; when companies are conducting surveys, they usually have very
specific demographic profiles they're trying to cover. Hence it would
frequently turn out that you'd end up filling out a bunch of demographic
information (taking up your time), and then being told 'sorry, you're not
eligible for this survey' - but being given no credit whatsoever for that time
spent.
If DW were to do something similar, I would say that it might be advisable to
promise people a small amount of points for even attempting to participate.
However, since most surveys take you immediately off-site to fill out the
information, I don't know how difficult the coding would be to make sure people
get credited when they should and not simply for clicking on a link. It might
depend on efforts from the survey distributor that they might not be willing to
give.

>whatevers]...
