I see both sides of this--it's often crushing to feel like you
need to say something along the lines of "the lurkers support me
in private email" because everyone knows how crap that sounds,
and it is important to know that many people share a certain
thought/feeling.  But mailing lists do get difficult to handle if
you get a lot of me too replies.

At the same time Denise is totally right that this is not
something that we can or should be dealing with right now, so we
should table this issue.  I never expected it to be so
controversial!
