Alan, Are you using a router? I use a LinkSys multi-port router to connect multiple PCs in my house to the cable modem. I found that the DX spots in DX4WIN time-out unless I use the LinkSys "DMZ Host" feature to place the Ham PC outside the perimeter of the router's firewall protection.
