I actively chase new band/mode QSOs. Right now (6.01), there is no spot color that will tell me that I have never worked the spotted station on a particular band/mode (eg. 80m CW). It makes perfect sense to me that DX4WIN should be able to tell me that. If the inverse video paradigm is used for "new ones," then a white on green would indicate a new band/mode country, whereas a green on white would indicate previously worked, but as yet unconfirmed band/mode country.
More to the point, though, is that all we need is a Priority definition for this (New Award Band/Mode). Colors in DX4WIN can be customized. 73 - Dave N3RD On 5 Feb 2003 at 10:07, Paul van der Eijk wrote: > Hi, > > I have received a number of direct emails, and read a few on the > reflector, asking that the definition of green on white spots be changed. > Currently (6.02), it makes no difference if the new band/mode combination is > confirmed or not. The suggestion is to only use this priority for band/mode combinations that are new (never worked before).
