So both stations where in England.
There is no need anymore like it used to be some years ago to append /P or
/M.
M is one of the normal prefixes in England. (Scotland is MM, Jersey is MJ,
etc...) have noticed something similar for another country, namely France.
Worked F/G4BJM and N1MM refused to see the prefix as F0.

I have not looked at the code but my first guess is that /M is designation
for mobile which isn't a country and since people often switch the order of
their modifiers. DXBase could be treating M/ as mobile.
