In Mac OS "command+Q" normally closes the application, while in IDEA it
displays the JavaDoc.

Exactly what I meant.. Once you get used to an UI feature you start to
expect it in the other apps too, and you end up doing strange things (like
shift-clicking in the task bar to close an application)
So if we want a Alt+Tab style switching widget it's ok, but currently it
looks like a menu and I'd like it to behave as menu.

May be I'd like it when I see it, but please keep the UI consistent. See
