Ah, tricky! In the meantime, thogh, Iwas able to get a new eval key. We're having a meeting on Thursday where hopefully I can convince people at my company that this is the thing to do. > Maybe an idea for a low-cost "small-guy" license would > include a limit > on project sizes. > Is it a good assumption that low-income or no-income development > projects probably > won't be using 1000 source files? I don't like limited versions...what about the guy who is working on a big open source project? I wonder if you simply keep track of their email and ip if that is enough. That is, if options are open, I would hope that most companies would be honest and play by the rules, but I wouldn't be surprised if I found out otherwise. But many corporations do have whole auditing efforts around this and are very careful to stay within terms. We're mulling the same thing for a more public release of some of the stuff we're doing -- how do you get the people (say researchers and hobbyists) to be able to use your tools without allowing corporations to get off scot free. Its a hard one. _______________________________________________ Eap-list mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.intellij.com/mailman/listinfo/eap-list
