maybe he had a sor pinky ...

where can i see the drawing of this thimble like
contraption for the little finger?  i picked up the
habit of placing my little finger on the sound board
of my first guitar and have continued doing so with
every instrument i play - can't help myself.  

.. except the charango: because of its 1/8th size (?)
i can hook it into the space between the bouts for
extra support without dampening down on the volume.  i
assume this is the taboo associated with errant
pinkies.
