 I don't know... I tend to think that those who are intolerant of
diversity are not going to be able to take part and contribute to
a good community atmosphere. Intolerance and selfishness seem to go
hand and hand. I tend to think that all us freaks should lead by 
example. In most cases other freaks of different "sorts" (e.g.
someone who is gay and someone who is pagan) tend to be tolerant
and interested in one another, and often mutual positive collaboration,
co-operation and so-on happens in a way that must set an example.

Personally my prime reason for looking different to "normal" people
is as a deliberate attempt to confound the narrow-minded :) And it seems
to work, although I am not as extreme as e.g. a punk.
