I have used the Evision product also and have been extremely pleased with
the performance and the tracking ability for EDI. I have also used
Mercator, Harbinger and Gentran - I think Evision is the best complete EDI
solution. If you want to do complex mapping it may not be the best tool but
with some help you can accomplish almost anything that you try. I trained a
couple of people to use EVISION both in mapping and operations, they both
were Customer Service people and learned very quickly how to use the tools.

The other thing that I must compliment the Evision on is the ability to
track documents both inbound and outbound. If you have a standard Report
Writing package you can write any type of report that you need. This helps
because it seems that the standard reports that come in most packages are
not what you are looking for.

I recommend this product highly if you aren't trying to do extremely complex
mapping steps. I only wish I could go back to using the product because it
was so easy but complete for EDI.

We've been using eVision for a little over 2 years and have been very
pleased. Their tech support is outstanding and I agree with Anthony - you
can do anything in the mapper.

Just as some history (sorry to bore some people) but EDITRAN was developed
by
a consulting company for a client that was turned into a commercial product
and the
company became EDI Solutions. EDI Solutions was sold to a freight container
company
(Maersk) that sold it to St. Paul Software, that became SPS Commerce. SPS
Commerce was
sold to TIE Commerce. Test in the morning.
