We had a couple of clients who were using GE EDI*Desktop, plus the GXS VAN service. We've since converted the dialup connection to VPN, and that seems to run ok. We've replaced the EDI*Desktop software with our own stuff (because of additional requirements), but it seemed to work adequately.
