That's a good start. There are however a few steps required to move  
forward, the first and most important being are the users and solution  
providers interested in moving away from the commercial and costly 3rd  
party certification for AS2? I have asked this question before and  
found no interest at all. It seems that neither the vendors and users  
care about reducing cost and move towards a more transparent and open  
certification process. Without this first step there is no reason to  
work on the other steps as it would be a waste of time. Don't get me  
wrong, I will gladly participate in creating such environment, but  
only if there is support from users and providers alike.
