Agreed. I enforce standards with vendors but with customers I've learned that its a waste of time trying to insist.
Out of curiosity...is US customs an 800 lb gorilla that enforces standards or the a rule breaker like some of my friends who do HIPAA EDI describe the US gov in their world?
