My own view is that it is as unreasonable for anybody, postmaster or
not, to expect any open list to be completely free either of spam or of
people touchy about spam. If we don't have the services of a postmaster
who is prepared to accept this level of hassle, then we don't have the
type of staffing needed for an open list & should go to the
less-troublesome closed list forthwith.
