That was strange, it attaches nicely and can be read and scanned.
The supported options seem to be the same as in the 900 but it fails when
it tries to set a supposedly supported format, YUYV (1448695129),
reported while scanning formats.
Did you try some other size, 320x240, 352x288? I assume you use
the latest usbvc driver (from nv96 or later). Ekiga must do
something similar when it sets the format.
I thought 701 had a similar webcam as 900 but judging from the
comparison table at the end of:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ASUS_Eee_PC
the 701 seems to have a 0.3 megapixel cam and the 900 a 1.3 megapixel
although it doesn't mean that the interface necessarily has to be
different.
