There are two DB15 jacks on the back of the KAT-500.

By paying attention to the discussions here and looking at the Elecraft
web site occasionally.  For example, a picture showing the rear of the
KAT-500 has been there (http://www.elecraft.com/news.htm) for more than
five months.  I saw a prototype in Orlando last February and Dayton in
May.
