Jim,

I can recommend the Power Sonic PS-12350.  It is a 35 AH, AGM, sealed, 
lead-acid battery.  I got it because it is about the heaviest that I can carry 
comfortably.  I use it for portable operation with the K3 at 100 watts output.  
It runs for a good long time when fully charged.  At least 5 or 6 hours.  I 
keep it charged with their PSC-124000A-C charger.  Battery is on the charger 
whenever it is not in use.  Keeps it topped up, which is recommended for such 
batteries.
