My 2 cents. FedEx ground will leave my shipment on their dock so it does not deliver early. They need to protect their overnight premium rate. UPS will take 7 days on a 7 day lane. USPS, depending on the lane, you may get your priority package ahead of time. Sometimes overnight depending on the regions. However, USPS does not make outbound on time for all packages. Partly because some are overlooked, or they simply do not have the capacity with their contracted carriers. However, they go everywhere. IMHO FedEX ground has the best track record for being on time with the least amount of footprints on my box. And no, I do not work for any of the above.
