Buddy: Interesting thought. Could I operate without sight? Not likely. Especially considering my extremely lousy typing skills. But except for double checking what I typed, 90% of operating is hearing (RTTY excepted, of course). I find the less I share my brain power between visual/audio info the better. I don’t do assisted (no distracting band map) and my favorite contests are Sprints. Just pure radio with a little technology to record the results.
