Going back to the original question, then LP_Bridge in combination with DXLabs Commander allows one to use and control both WSJT-X, a logging program, and a contest program with port sharing at the same time. I wrote it up here: http://la3za.blogspot.com/2019/06/port-sharing-for-wsjt-x.html
