Sorry, but obscure remarks in an unrelated thread don’t cut it.

I’ve been waiting over a year and a half for a K3 upgrade. The only
updates I ever got on the order were responses from Madelyn from inquiries
I made - respectfully waiting months between inquiries, out of respect for
the situation.

Finally, after over a year she told me that an update had been posted in
this group on May 1, so I started following the group again. That was in
July. In the May 1 email, my order was identified as a Group 3 item, and
would be ready in 10 - 14 weeks. Worst-case, that would have been over a
month ago. There have been no updates.

Respectfully, I shouldn’t have to read the body of every email to this list
to glean the current status of an order I placed a year and a half ago
(during the pandemic, when they already knew of supply chain issues, yet
estimated a relatively short delivery time).

Any way you cut it, communication about these orders has been abysmal.
It’s a pretty simple matter to create a separate email list for each of the
Groups, or even each back-ordered item, and addressed the targeted groups
as needed.

I work in manufacturing, and have experienced similar supply chain issues -
if we treated our customers like this, we would be out of business.

I’ve been more than patient and understanding, but I’m getting close to
canceling my order and selling my K3 and P3 and moving on with life…which
is unfortunate, as I really l8r the radio.

I had considered a K4, but with the current track record, I don’t see how I
could order one.
