I operate 99.9% CW and don’t want a mic cluttering up my operating position. I use a Shure 444 connected to the rear apron. It has a 3 conductor plug on it from back in my QRP days for use with a TenTec Argonaut 515. I built a short adapter cable with a 1/4” inline jack with leads to MIC and PTT IN. A friend with a 3D printer made me a nice cap for the front panel.
