Wal-Mart sells a set of Sony's that I really like. Have leathette stuff on the ear pieces that are soft and comfortable. It comes with the 1/8" plug but includes a 1/4" adapter. For $20 you can't beat it. I use them quite a bit. If they get lost or broken I am only out $20, but I have an extra adapter. ;-)

Can anyone suggest reasonably costing plain-vanilla
earphones for ham use? What 2007 headphones are
available out there - be it WMart, RShack, or Bose?

What quality, not WWII vintage, earphones are good
performers for K2, IC-706MKIIG, or IC-7000 type
ham rigs?

I'm not searching for Western Electric WWII
headphones.

I suspect there is one or 2 models out there, that
we can all afford. What impedance am I looking for?

Thanks,
Fred, FL
