Thanks for the suggestion N4OI but the R8 was released 16 years ago. I'd like to take advantage of some modern receiver design.
Shane, You could consider buying a used Drake R8 on eBay -- In my opinion it is a fantastic general coverage receiver with sync dedtection and great sound.
