I suspect many of us have had a USB adapter that didn't seem to cooperate at one time or the other. I have one that doesn't seem to work on anything! It's a Targus. I also have a Belkin that seems to work on everything! So, go figure! I think the gentleman was right about the BIOS being the culprit.
