Markus,

I have the v4 firmware downloaded/installed. Since this is NTSC, I'm
assuming that is correct? What else might I be doing wrong? In the
kernel messages, I see the following things that seem questionable:

Sep 17 15:44:31 localhost kernel: [91831.900000] em28xx #0: reading i2c
device failed (error=-110)
Sep 17 15:44:31 localhost kernel: [91831.900000] tvp5150 2-005c: ***
unknown tvp5150 chip detected.
Sep 17 15:44:31 localhost kernel: [91831.900000] tvp5150 2-005c: *** Rom
ver is 4.234

Sep 17 15:46:00 localhost kernel: [91921.380000] Loading base firmware:
xc3028_init0.i2c.fw
Sep 17 15:46:07 localhost kernel: [91927.890000]
FIXME:em28xx_i2c_send_bytes(c2): write failed:
Sep 17 15:46:07 localhost kernel: [91927.890000]
===============================
Sep 17 15:46:07 localhost kernel: [91927.890000] 04 0d e0 00
Sep 17 15:46:07 localhost kernel: [91927.890000]
================================

I'm also seeing it try to load the PAL firmware, which seems a bit odd,
but since I don't have a program driving the "correct" standard this
might be nothing to worry about.

Sep 17 15:46:21 localhost kernel: [91941.820000] Loading default
analogue TV settings: xc3028_BG_PAL_A2_A.i2c.fw
Sep 17 15:46:21 localhost kernel: [91942.450000] xc3028-tuner.c:
firmware 2.7

Thanks for your help,
Craig
