Works for me: "my" server is usually pretty fast, but NCSU IT only
pretends to do backups of userland. :-) I just thought anything would
be better than having all these links to rcp.tar.gz.

I dunno if this is a "pretty" crowd, if ya know what I mean :-)
IMHO, completeness and consistency of information, as well as ease of
maintenance, would indicate just rolling this into the texi, then
using tex2html or makeinfo or whatever to make both the html and the
info. Then mounting the page is just one minor (and scriptable) task
to append to the end of the current .info maintenance process.
The only patches I'd make to the current .info (to accomodate this)
are
* put the download link on the top page of the .info, so that it would
presumably also be on the top page of the html.
* add a link to the mail archive.
But perhaps rcp.el needs an animal mascot, or something ?-)
Re information: are [EMAIL PROTECTED] and
[EMAIL PROTECTED] the same thing? I'm assuming one
alias the other.
